Clinical Interns Training Program New Leaf offers an 11-month intensive clinical training program for people pursuing an advanced counseling degree: for example, Masters in Social Work (MSM), Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, (MFT) or a PhD or Psy.D in Psychology. Interns are responsible for providing direct clinical services in the following areas: Intake evaluation and treatment planning Long and short-term individual therapy Group therapy Couples therapy Case management Crisis intervention and referral There are 18-20 training slots available for clinical interns. This year’s conference was entitled “Kaleidoscope of Identities: Clinical Approaches to Working with Women, Culture, and Intersecting Identities,” held on February 20, and exploring the complex interweaving of LGBTQQI women’s culture, spirituality, and sexuality. |
